Factory history:
The history of the company dates back to the old sawmill - the sawmill of its former owner, Mr. Esmont. When the town of Radyvyliv (then Krasnoarmeysk) was liberated from the Nazi Nazis in March 1944, only a broken sawmill remained from the sawmill.
In 1946, a gang was established in this area, which established a sawmill, and in 1951 - also tar production.
On the basis of the artel in 1960, the Red Army Furniture Factory was established, which increased the production of furniture - living rooms, kitchens, tables, cabinets, as well as furniture for children's institutions, sets of children's toys and more. In the 70s and 80s of the last century, 70% of the factory's products were produced with the Quality Mark.
Radyvyliv furniture was supplied to a number of regions of Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan and other republics. In 1982, the factory had 532 employees.
In 1990, a 5-storey 52-apartment building was put into operation, and previously - a 3-storey residential building with showers and a dining room, garages for trucks.
During the crisis of the late 80's - early 90's production fell, but the company avoided a final collapse.
In May 1995, the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Radyvyliv Furniture Factory was established on the basis of the factory. Mykola Petrovich Fedun was elected Chairman of the Management Board of the OJSC, and Volodymyr Vasyliovych Dziobak was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board. They managed to retain the best professionals, revive production, introduce the latest technologies, dramatically improve product quality. The company currently has 92 employees.
In 2011 the Open Joint-Stock Company "RMF" was renamed to the Limited Liability Company "Radyvyliv Furniture Factory".
The factory specializes in the production of furniture mainly from natural wood. Products with the Rado brand are in demand both in Ukraine and in other countries.
Is it really the company" Jacob & Josef Kohn »
is the founder of the Rado factory?
Incredibly interesting facts from the history of the Rado factory were found in the archival materials of the XIX-XX centuries. It turns out that in the late nineteenth century. the famous firm Jacob & amp; Josef Kohn », which had factories for the manufacture of Viennese furniture in many countries around the world, opened its own factory in Radyvyliv (then Radziwill Volyn province). Is it really possible to say that Yaky and Josef Cohn became the founders of our furniture factory?
In the world of design, the style of "Viennese furniture", which means "made of bent wood", is extremely famous and popular. This is a special type of furniture that has attracted attention for hundreds of years and has always been the subject of disputed copyrights.
The most famous in the world is the Austrian company-manufacturer of Viennese furniture Jacob & amp; Josef Kohn (Jacob and Joseph Cohn). Reference: Jacob Cohn (1791-1868), his son Joseph Cohn (1814-1884). The first factory for the production of wooden building parts was founded by Jacob Kon in 1849 in Moravia. The biggest competitor at that time was the organization "Brothers Thonet" (Brothers Thonet), and the word "Tonet" became a nickname. But Tonet was not a pioneer in this field. When he came to conquer Vienna with a patent for the production of bent-glued furniture, it turned out that bent furniture of a similar design has long been successfully produced by competing firms. We are talking about Jacob and Joseph Cohn. In 1856, they launched a successful campaign to revoke Michael Tonet's patent for the production of bent wood furniture. However, before Tonet voluntarily relinquished his patent rights in 1869, a bent wood factory was established in Vsetin in 1867, which was put into operation in 1868. A second plant was founded in Jicin in 1869, others in Krakow, Poland, and Teschen ( now Česky Těšín) in 1871, another in Novo Radomsko (now Radomsko, Poland).
And so in 1878 the firm was named "Jacob & amp; Josef Kohn. ” She continues to gain momentum. 1884 - a factory was opened in Eastern Europe, in 1890 - a factory for the production of frames in Holeshau. 1895 - a registered factory of Viennese furniture in Radziwill
